Workshop held at IUBAT on Future Career on Frontier Technology
An interactive session titled "Future Career on Frontier Technology" was held on Wednesday at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) Seminar Hall located in the capital's Uttara Model Town. Bangladesh Innovation Forum introduced the students of the university to frontier technology career possibilities in this jointly organized session.
Attendees participated in the session to learn about career opportunities in new and innovative technologies, recent and future technological trends and their potential impact and skills development. At the same time, they learned about opportunities for networking and coordination among students, teachers and technology experts.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor of International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) Dr. Abdur Rob was present as the chief guest. He said, “Advancement in technology is expanding the horizons of current and future careers. It is very important for our students to gain knowledge about new areas of technology. Such events will expose them to various frontier technologies and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge, which will help them succeed in their careers. I hope our students will utilize this opportunity to prepare themselves for the future and play an important role in the development of the country.”
Founder and CEO of Thriving Skills Limited Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud was present as the main speaker. He said, “Skills are of immense importance in the development of frontier technology. Technology is changing rapidly in today's world and we need to acquire new skills to keep pace with this change. Our students should prepare themselves not only for the current job market, but also for the future job market. If they acquire knowledge and skills in the field of frontier technology, they will be able to lead not only their career but also the country's economy towards development. I hope our students will take away valuable learning from this interactive session and propel themselves forward in a competitive world.”
Selina Nargis, Treasurer of IUBAT, Director and Chief Operating Officer of Aqualink Bangladesh Ltd. Niaz Sharif Sourav, CEO of Bangla Puzzle Limited, Nadeem Majid were also present among the panelists. The event was conducted by the President of Bangladesh Innovation Forum, Ariful Hasan Apu.
IUBAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IIEC) and HB Aviation and Tourism Institute and E-Soft were involved as IT partners in this event.
